                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO REZONE A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED IN THE 7700
                   BLOCK OF STANDIFER GAP ROAD, BEING ON THE
                   SOUTHWEST LINE OF STANDIFER GAP ROAD NORTHWEST
                   OF JENKINS ROAD, FROM R-1 RESIDENTIAL ZONE TO
                   RZ-1 ZERO LOT LINE RESIDENTIAL ZONE, SUBJECT TO
                   CERTAIN CONDITIONS.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as
         amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is 
hereby
         amended so as to rezone:
               
                A tract of land located in the 7700 block of
                Standifer Gap Road, being on the southwest line of
                Standifer Gap Road northwest of Jenkins Road.  An
                unplatted tract, being part of the properties
                described in deed book 1498, page 460, ROHC, and
                deed book 1797, page 162, ROHC; being all of Tax
                Map No. 139N-A-10.
               
               
         from R-1 Residential Zone to RZ-1 Zero Lot Line Residential 
Zone.

              	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this rezoning 

         shall be subject to the following conditions:
        
              1.   Subject to dedication of right-of-way as required by
                   City Traffic Engineer.  
        
              2.   Subject to the condition that no more than 24 units 
can
                   be developed on the property.
        
              3.   All existing easements are retained.
        
        
              	   SECTION 3.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, as
         required by law.
